Making the switch to these practices isn’t hard, but it might take some time to convert the entire space (this includes things like recycling, switching to energy-efficient appliances, etc.). Since you’ll be cutting the time you’ll need to spend advertising, we think it’s a great next step to take.
Go online. Another big switch, converting your filing system to online storage might seem daunting—but it can streamline your business and make day-to-day tasks that much easier.
Try employee bonding. You don’t need to work for a big corporation to enjoy the benefits that come with employee bonding. Get everyone together for a company picnic or retreat close or far from home; either way, your business will be all the better for it.
Plan an event. What better way to improve your presence in the community than by hosting an event? You can host a family day, take part in a community fundraiser, or set up a booth at a local arts fair or outdoor day. Look for ways to get involved!
Research the industry. Many business owners would find greater success if they took some time to research the condition of the industry they’re in. Get to know how competing or neighboring stores, restaurants, etc. are doing and look for areas in which you can improve. It never hurts to be in the know!
